Effects of Heavy Metal Pollution in Soil of Coal Gangue Area on Germination and Seedlings of Typical Remediation Plants

The problem of soil heavy metal pollution caused by coal gangue accumulation areas is becoming more and serious. In situ plant remediation technology has become one the most promising methods to solve due its advantages green economy. this experiment, characteristics in shallow (vertical depth 0~20 cm) 300 m outside square circle a typical area Fengfeng Mining Area Hebei Province, China were used as prototype. Alfalfa ryegrass selected test plants. Pot experiments carried out at different concentrations (Cu:14/64/100 mg/kg, Pb:15/38/170 Cd:1/4/8 mg/kg) levels study reveal effects single compound on seed germination seedling growth alfalfa ryegrass. results showed that: (1) Under condition Cd pollution, index seeds potential show trend “low concentration promotion high inhibition”. Pb Cu soil, indices obvious inhibition damage effect; that is, with an increase concentration, rate, potential, vigor decreasing trend. When 170 mg/kg or 100 8 inhibitory effect two plants harmful. (2) Due combined there are synergistic antagonistic between Cu, That say, under low stress greater than stress, less stress. (3) Whether always tolerant alfalfa, indicating for remediation.
